The purpose of Elk Valley Afterschool is to provide students a free-of-cost safe and enriching environment during the hours before or afterschool. The program is funded through a partnership with the Department of Education’s LEAPs grant, UT Extension (Campbell County), and the University of Tennessee. Students are provided with academic enrichment opportunities that reinforce and complement their regular school-day academic program and provide supportive services to help them meet standards in the core content areas. All of our teachers are highly qualified in the state of Tennessee for their subject area, so Afterschool kids get the best possible assistance with their studies.

3:00-3:30 Roll-Call/Snack/Free Time
3:30-4:15 Homework/Tutoring
4:15-5:00 Academic Enrichment
5:00-5:30 Physical Fitness/Game Time
5:30-6:00 Transition/Clean Up/Parent Pickup
