Monday was Super Cubes with our K-2 and 6-8 grades. Source

Friday’s activity was a part of our Crazy 8s Math Club, and our activity was called Super Cubes. The students learned about angles and got to use them making shapes out of their cubes. We had a competition to see who could get the most patterns done from their scorecard. Even Mrs. Brittany got in on the action! Source

Friday was the day before Halloween and we let the students spend some time coloring and being creative for the holiday. Source

TONIGHT at 6:30, we are hosting our free training for students, Internet Safety Training for Youth. This training covers several topics such as dangerous apps, sexting, methods that predators use to target + groom children, and so much more! Tuesday was crafts with our 3rd-5th grade students. Source

Yesterday’s Lego lesson was about following step-by-step instructions, and in the end we had some pretty cool looking creatures! Source

Our 3rd-5th grade students are starting something called Physics Workshop. In this program, the students will build things and then do experiments on them. Friday, we introduced the kits to them and we got organized. There are over 300 parts in the kits, so we sorted, bagged, and labeled everything so that we will be ready to go this Friday … Read More

Tuesday, our 3rd-5th grade students had a lesson called Funky Fractals. Fractals are patterns of repeating shapes. The students made the fractals, but also got to get creative with their wax sticks and make other shapes too. Then they all got to take home their wax sticks. Source
