For yesterday’s Legos activity, we built balloon powered cars. We talked about thrust and Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion. We discussed that as engineers and scientists we are not always successful at our attempts, but we then re-design and redo with hopefully better success the more we work at it. A while back, we watched the movie “Coco.” Thursday, the students were given the assignment of researching Mexican Culture and how relevant the movie is to reality. Then the students were to present their information to the group. They did a great job! Their reward is that next week we will cook some Mexican cuisine! Source
